Everyone is interested in non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These are digital assets that represent real-world objects such as art, music, videos, among other things. Rapper Snoop Dogg has revealed that he is an NFT collector and operates under the pseudonym Cozomo de’ Medici. Using this anonymous Twitter account, Snoop is sharing detailed tips for making money in the crypto space. The rapper revealed that he is Cozomo de’ Medici on Thursday. According to a portfolio estimation tool, Snoop’s wallet is full of NFT collectibles, valued at over $17 million (about Rs 125 crore).
According to a report from Decrypt.co, nine items from Snoop Dogg’s NFT collection from Ethereum blockchain-based Cryptopunks are considered the most valuable. These include Cryptopunk’s most valuable profile picture NFT, which is worth around $4.6 million (approximately Rs 33.9 crore). The rapper also owns ten Mebits NFTs which are 3D avatars created by Larva Labs.
Now, Snoop Dogg isn’t the only international celebrity into the NFT. NBA star Stephen Curry, social media influencer Jake Paul and TV personality Steve Harvey have also been involved in the NFT gathering. However, Snoop has secretly gone deep into space.
In India, Amitabh Bachchan is said to be rolling out his own NFTs including some unique and exclusive artworks around his identity by November this year, reports said recently.
