Stadium-goers caught falling cat with flag in viral video

The internet sometimes spreads messages of such goodwill, that we can’t help but appreciate. It also makes us want to be better human beings. One such incident came to light and it involves a kitten. A cat was swinging from the upper balcony of a stadium and fighting for its life. But soon, two Good Samaritans unhooked their American flags from the hook and placed them under the cat for easy fall. The incident took place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, where people went to watch a college football match and came back home with a bizarre yet heartwarming experience.

Craig Cromer and his wife Kimberly Cromer went to see a football match. This is his ritual for the last seven years. But when he raised the American flag and saved the kitten’s life, it was “probably the strangest thing ever,” Ms Cromer told Miami Herald.

While the couple’s flag made the perfect cushion for the fall, another onlooker picked up the cat and lifted it into the air. The cat is alive and in good health.

Videos of the cat went massively viral on social media with people in the stadium praising the efforts. A video of the rescue has garnered over 7 million views on Twitter.

One user wrote, ‘I am glad they caught him and he is alive, but he must have been so scared, not just by falling, but by the loud noise in the stadium. So he was wandering here and there. He was stressed out! I hope someone has taken him home.”

Another suggested that the couple should take the cat home and become best friends. Oh, is that so.

“I hope someone has adopted it or tried to find a home for it. Poor kitty… Good left though,” read one of the responses.

Many users congratulated the effort.
