Stay away from ‘Ram-Drohi’: Adityanath at Backward Classes meeting India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Addressing the members of Vishwakarma community in Lucknow on Saturday, UP Chief Minister Adityanath said, “Those who are not well wishers of Lord Ram can never be your well wishers.”
He accused the opposition parties of being anti-Ram, and that they not only damaged the faith but also disturbed the social fabric, hampered development and threw the state into a “fire of riots” during his rule.
He said at a gathering, “Save terrorists, embrace rioters, keep distance from Ram-drohis (who are anti-Ram) who are tearing up the social fabric, it will be better for your present and your future generations to have a bright future.” ” From BJP Backward Classes Front.
He said, “Some people put obstacles in the way of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and opened fire on Ram Bhakts, today BJP governments have started its construction and it is going on in full swing.”
Adityanath said law and order in UP has improved under his government, and people are able to celebrate the festival without any fear.
Adityanath said, “The public was unable to celebrate and would live in fear under the shadow of the curfew. And these people (opposition leaders) would shamelessly wear caps and insult the people of the state.”
On the controversial Ram Setu issue, he alleged that the Congress, SP and BSP were trying to damage the Adam Bridge, a chain of underground limestone bridges in the Palk Strait, while the BJP protected it.
He was referring to the Sethusamudram shipping canal project controversy, where the previous UPA government argued before the Supreme Court that “Ram Setu” is not an “essential” and “integral” part of Hinduism.
The Chief Minister said that when the Congress-led UPA government was formed in 2004, there was a competition between SP and BSP to support it.
“The SP extended its support without asking and their intention was to hurt the Hindu faith by placing a gun on the shoulders of the Congress,” he alleged.
“These people not only damaged the faith but also damaged the social fabric, damaged development and threw the state into the fire of riots,” the BJP leader alleged.
UP is on the path of rapid development with the vision of PM Modi and blessings of Lord Vishwakarma, the PM said.
