Sumit and Rohit Dahiya opened India’s Greco-Roman account by winning bronze medals on the concluding day of the World Under-20 Wrestling Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria on Sunday.

World cadet bronze medalist Sumit, who lost to Armenian Suren Aghajanyan in the semi-finals, defeated world junior bronze medalist Mert Elbars of Turkey 6-3 in the 60kg bronze medal event.

The Indian, trailing 3-0 in one leg, narrowed the deficit to 3-1 at break time and used a gut wrench to ensure his victory in the second period.
