Suzuki Motorcycle India today launched the standard variant of the Suzuki Avenis scooter at a price of Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, India). Earlier, the company had introduced Ride Connect and Race Edition of Suzuki Avenis.
Suzuki says that it has introduced this new variant of the Avenis to meet the high demand and expectations of the customers. The Avenis Standard Edition comes with body-mounted LED headlamps, LED tail-lamps and motorcycle-inspired rear indicators.
For convenience, the standard edition gets an external hinge-type fuel cap and a large storage space under the seat. Apart from this, the Suzuki Avenis also gets split grab rails, alloy wheels, sporty muffler covers and trendy graphics.

Powered by SEP technology, the Avenis standard variant uses a 125cc engine with FI technology that produces 8.7ps at 6,750 rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The body of the scooter is light at 106 kg.
