These Delicious Korean Veg Pancakes Can Be Your Healthy Breakfast

Pancakes are a great option for breakfast. These are super tasty and can be made healthier. What’s even more interesting is that they are versatile and can be cooked in many different ways. Yachaejeon is a popular Korean vegetable pancake prepared with a healthy twist. It is crispy and crunchy as well as soft and delicious which Koreans enjoy as a side dish, snack or snack. So, rustle it up whenever you want to give a healthy twist to your breakfast. Don’t worry about the recipe. Chef Guntas Sethi has shared the recipe of Yachaejeon (Korean Vegetable Pancake) through a video on Instagram.

For the caption, Guntas wrote, “What a super easy yummy breakfast pancake loaded with veggies with a healthy oat flour base that gives you an irresistible burst of flavor! The name may sound scary, but it Worth a try as you will feel like you are on the streets of Seoul with your breakfast staple.It also makes a great snack.

To make it, take all the vegetables in a vessel. Add baking powder, salt and pepper, oat flour or all-purpose flour, water or vegetable stock and mix to a nice thick batter. Now heat a pan and put some oil in it. Spread the batter in the pan and pour something over it Sesame seeds, Cover it with a lid and cook on low to medium flame. Once one side is cooked, flip it and cook the other side well.

In another recipe with a Korean twist, Chef Guntas Sethi demonstrates the making process Kimchi Fried Rice, Kimchi is basically prepared from several fermented vegetables; and is flavored with garlic, gochugaru and spring onions. It is nutritious and healthy so many people try to make kimchi a part of their diet. A super delicious way to do this is with Kimchi Fried Rice. For this, cut the kimchi and keep it aside. Heat some oil in a pan and add whatever vegetables you like. Toss kimchi with gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar, and kimchi water. Now add the remaining rice and mix it well. You can use some greens and sesame seeds to garnish the dish.
