Thiruvananthapuram city schools performed well in ISC exam

Schools in Thiruvananthapuram city performed well in the ICSE (Class 12) examinations, the results of which were declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Sunday.

Two students of Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School secured the second merit position at the national level. Shivani S Prabhu and Adhish Joseph Shinu secured 99.5% marks. He was also the first in the merit list of the state. Anagha M. Nair secured the third position at the national level and second in the state with 99.25% marks. Prathith Chivukula secured 99% marks to secure 3rd merit position in the state. Out of 110 students who appeared for the exam, 101 got distinction.

In Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, Diya Merin Edgar secured 99.25% marks at the national level and second in the state. Arrogant J. Subhash and Devika Krishnan M. followed with 98.5% marks. Rahul RS and Amrita Krishna stood third in the school with 97.75 per cent. Out of 102 students who appeared in the exam, 66 students got distinction.

Gautam Krishna K. of Loyola School, Srikaryam. Secured 3rd position at National level and 2nd in State with 99.25% marks. Adith R. Vishnu stood second in the school with 98.75% marks. Out of 66 students who took the exam, 54 secured distinction.

Alvin Cletus (Commerce) and Laxmi GS and Sneha Vijayan (Both Science) of St. Thomas Residential School, Mukkolakkal secured the 3rd merit position in the state with 99% marks. Shilpa Arun and Timothy J. Sajan (both sciences) secured 98.75% marks, followed by Naomi Sara John, Neela Jagan A, Neeraj Ninan Kuriakose and Roshan Parveen with 98.5% marks.

Jyotsna Siddharth stood second in commerce with 98% and Meryl Anna Joseph stood third with 95.25%. Out of 136 students, 109 secured distinction.

In Lecole Chempaca, Laura Thomas topped in Science stream and Neva A Abraham secured first position in Humanities with 98.75% marks. Pragidia M. topped in commerce with 94.25 per cent marks. Out of 84 students who appeared for the exam, 59 secured distinction.

In Holy Angels’ ISC School, Nanthancode, MKS Rashmika secured 97% marks to top the Science stream. JS Atulya secured 96.5% marks and Galatea Jacob scored 96% marks. Meenakshi Sudhir secured 89.75 per cent marks in commerce stream. Ansara J followed with 89.25% and Amrita A with 87.25%. Out of 91 students who appeared for the exam, 54 secured distinction.

In Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kunnumpuram, Niranjan AK topped in Science stream with 98.25% and Meenu V. Lakshmi topped in Commerce with 91%. The school secured 100% success in the examination. Out of 43 students who appeared for the exam, 22 secured distinction.
