Guru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated on 8th November with great grandeur and religious fervor. On this occasion, devotees visit the Gurudwara and participate in Prabhat Pheri and Nagar Kirtan. And, now, we have a celebrity in our house who shared a glimpse of his Gurupurab celebrations. No points for guessing here. We are talking about Ayushmann Khurrana. Taking to his Instagram stories, Ayushmann shared a picture of Kada Prasad – the quintessential flour pudding served as bhog in Gurudwaras. The gorgeous brown ghee-laden delicacy looked rich, and velvety and had a mouth-melting texture. Along with the picture, the actor wrote, “Gurupurab” and added a red heart emoji.

How to make Atta Halwa for Kadha Prasad:

While wheat flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
water – 4 cups
Ghee – cup
method:
Step 1: First melt the ghee and add wheat flour to it. Make sure you fry it properly on high heat.
Step 2: Put water and sugar in another pan and let the sugar dissolve well. Let it cook for some time.
Step 3: When you have roasted the flour mixture well, you will notice that it will look like a paste at first and then as you continue to cook it, the mixture will gather together into pieces.
Step 4: When you feel that it is sufficiently fried, notice that the base of the pan has become slightly shiny and the flour mixture no longer sticks to the pot. It’s time for the next step.
Step 5: Add sugar solution to the mixture and keep stirring it well. First bring it to a boil and boil till the liquid is completely absorbed in the mixture.
