‘This to Shell Pass’: Babar Azam Trolled After Pakistan’s Shocking Loss To Zimbabwe In T20 World Cup

Babar Azam’s tweet earlier this year in support of his cricketing counterpart Virat Kohli Twitterati came back to haunt him on Thursday after Zimbabwe’s 1 run win over Pakistan in the nail-biting T20 World Chasing a target of 131 runs set by Zimbabwe in the cup clash in Perth, the always-reliable duo of Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were dismissed in the span of an over, much to the dismay of Pakistani fans.

Shan Masood was the lone fighter in the lot but his 44 could not save the sinking Pakistan ship.

Serious faces were seen at the Optus Stadium, where Pakistani fans gathered for an easy and thrilling win against Zimbabwe in the World Cup. But it was not to be.

Azam’s old tweet started trending on microblogging site Twitter after a shocking defeat and getting out cheaply.

The fact that Azam’s side ended up on the losing side in the previous thriller where Virat Kohli’s heroism was seen India Didn’t forget home.
