1. Bajaj Dominar 250
Introduced in March 2020, Bajaj Dominar 250 is one of the affordable touring bikes in India. Priced at Rs 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is powered by a 248.77 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that makes 27 PS of maximum power and 23.5 Nm of peak torque. The touring bike can hit a top speed of 132 kmph. Key features of the Bajaj Dominar 250 include an LED headlamp, an LCD display, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch and more. It is available in three color schemes – Sparkling Blue, Citrus Rush and Racing Red.
2. KTM Duke 250
KTM Duke 250 is a naked street motorcycle available at a price point of Rs. 2.28 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Duke 250 is powered by a 248.8cc engine that produces 29.5 bhp power and 24 Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The street bike offers a top speed of 138 kmph. In terms of features, the motorcycle gets an LED headlamp and tail-lamps, LED turn indicators and a fully digital LCD instrument display. For safety, the Duke 250 is equipped with dual-channel ABS.
3. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250
Currently available in Black and MotoGP livery color schemes, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 are priced at Rs 1.90 lakh and Rs 1.91 lakh respectively (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The fully faired sports bike gets digital instrument display, twin mufflers, Suzuki easy start system and disc brakes at the front and rear. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 uses a 249cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine that cranks out 26.5 PS@9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm@7,300 rpm. A six-speed transmission is on offer. The sports bike can do a top speed of 150 kmph and takes around 9.6 seconds to go from 0-100 kmph.
4. Bajaj Pulsar RS200
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is a fully faired motorcycle available at a price of Rs 1.61 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). At heart, the Pulsar RS200 gets 24.2 bhp output and 18.7 Nm of torque from a 199.5cc four-valve liquid-cooled BS6 engine. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed manual gearbox. The top speed is estimated to be around 140.8 kmph. The Pulsar RS200 gets three color options, which include Metallic Pearl White, Pewter Gray and Burnt Red.
5. YAMAHA YZF-R15 V3.0
The fully-faired Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 can deliver a top speed of 136 kmph. The engine of the bike is mated to Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology which ensures superior performance. The YZF-R15 V3.0 is powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled four-valve engine that produces 18.6 PS power and 14.1 Nm torque. Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 can be purchased at a price of Rs 1,57,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
