Udaipur murder case accused attacked by mob outside court watch

The two main accused in the Udaipur tailor murder case were attacked by an angry mob outside a National Investigation Agency (NIA) court complex in Jaipur on Saturday. Lawyers and an angry mob thrashed the accused outside the court premises during police protection.

Heavy police force was deployed outside the premises of the NIA court and when the criminals were brought out of the court, the angry mob raised slogans.

Lawyers also created a ruckus inside the court premises demanding death penalty for the accused. When the main accused were being taken outside the court by the police, the angry mob attacked them with bottles and slippers.

Even clashed with the police and beat up the accused. The police soon brought the situation under control.

4 accused sent to judicial custody

Four accused in Udaipur murder case The main accused, including Mohammad Riaz and Ghaus Mohammad, have been remanded to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) till July 12.

a Hindu man Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded by Riyaz and Ghosh In daylight on June 28. The Udaipur massacre was recorded on camera and its video went viral on social media. Lal is believed to have been murdered over a social media post supporting BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

Two more people were arrested in connection with the murder on Friday. The accused, identified as Mohsin and Asif, were involved in the conspiracy and preparation behind the entire crime. The four accused have now been sent to NIA custody.

The case has been registered under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and is being probed by the NIA with the support of Rajasthan Police’s Anti-Terrorism Squad and Special Operations Group (SOG).
