Yogi had also given a piece of advice to parents and teachers. “Both the school and home environment play a major role in shaping the personality of a child. Hence, parents and teachers should try to create a positive environment around them,” the CM said.

He asked the parents to listen to PM Ki Pariksha Pe Charcha every year, and also read his book Exam Warrior. Yogi told parents, “The book will give you tips on how to deal with exam-related challenges.”

CM asked schools to adopt innovative methods of teaching and directed to organize special classes for weak students. Yogi asked the schools to make the students aware of the government schemes being run by both the Center and the state for their welfare.

Vajpayee said, “Students from comparatively small institutions have performed well this time, which was possible only when copying, copying was curbed.”

The CM further asked the schools to refrain from imparting education on the basis of certain notes. Instead, schools should encourage students to have a deep understanding of the subject, he said.
