In a statement, he said that he has not been produced before a magistrate or any other judicial officer nor has he been allowed to meet his legal counsel, who has been standing at the gate of the premises since morning.
“At present I am not going to go into the details of wholly illegal physical force used on my associates and me at the time of my arrest as this statement is only to illustrate the continued illegality of my imprisonment at PAC premises in Sitapur, U.P. Works,” she said.

Ms Gandhi Vadra has been kept in custody since Monday morning as she wanted to meet the families of the victims of the Lakhimpur conflict.
She said she had seen part of a paper on social media in which officials named 11 people, including eight who were not even present when they were arrested.

Eight people were killed in violence on Sunday during farmers’ protests in Lakhimpur Kheri ahead of UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit, in which both farmers and BJP workers lost their lives.
