UPMSP UP Board Class 9, 10 Half Yearly Exam New Pattern, Marks Available Online

NS Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) In the third week of November, the state board will conduct half yearly exams for class 9 and 10. For the first time half yearly examination for these classes will be conducted in the new pattern.

The UP Board will conduct the exam in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format which means students will be provided with OMR sheet instead of answer sheet. As per the official notice of the board, class 9 and 10 exam will carry 70 marks out of which 20 marks will be objective type questions and the remaining 50 marks will be for subjective questions. One mark will be awarded to the students for each correct answer. There will also be 30 marks for internal assessment.

Class 9 to 12 results are expected to be available from the second week of December. This year, the board will upload the UP Board Class 10 and 12 Half Yearly Exam Marks online for the first time. The schools affiliated to the state education board will have to upload the exam marks in December.

Students should note that there has been no change in the marking scheme of half-yearly, annual as well as pre-board examinations of class 11 and 12. The marking scheme for both these sections will remain the same as the previous year.

As per the tentative schedule, the final exams for class 10 and 12 are likely to be held in the last week of March 2022. UPMSP 10th & 12th practical exam will be conducted in the last week of February 2022. All schools are directed to complete the course by January 15.

This year, more than 51 lakh students have registered to appear in the UP Board Exam 2022. Out of the total, 27.7 lakh students have registered for class 12 exams, of which 14,000 are private candidates, and 23.42 lakh have registered for class 10. In which 1.14 lakh are private candidates.
