A Frontier Airlines spokesperson apologized to the woman.

Over the past few months, airline crashes have become a common yet strange occurrence. From a passenger urinating on another passenger to airlines dropping off passengers at the airport to a woman being bitten by a scorpion on a plane, here are some unusual incidents that have happened in the aviation industry recently. However, in another bizarre instance, an American airline mistakenly flew a domestic passenger to an international location. Not only this, according to a report in India, when the woman landed abroad, she did not even have her passport with her. ABC News,

Ellis-Hebbard, a New Jersey woman who was visiting Florida, claimed a gate change caused her to go to Jamaica instead of Jacksonville. She informed the outlet that she “flies regularly” from Philadelphia to her second home in Jacksonville and arrived at a gate for her Nov. 6 flight that read “PHL to JX.” “I fly about once every six weeks. I chose Frontier Flights because we fly so often,” she told the outlet.

Ms. Hebard had requested a quick trip to a gate agent to use the restroom and once she returned, the plane was almost fully loaded and she was quickly on board. She was recovering from back surgery and was slower than usual.

Ms. Hebard continued to tell the outlet, “(The gate agent) said, ‘Come on, come on. Give me your boarding pass.’ I’ll say I walked about ten steps, and she said, ‘Are you Beverly Ellis-Hebbard?’ I said, ‘You had my boarding pass. You just checked me in. Yes!’ He said, ‘Okay, go! Go.'”

In addition, the flight crew informed Ms. Hebard that the gate for the Jacksonville flight had changed and that her plane was en route to Jamaica. The woman continued, “I laughed. I said ‘I’d love to go there but I have a beach where I live,'[the flight attendant]said, ‘Look at me. This plane’s going to Jamaica.’ And I knew by the look on her face that she wasn’t kidding.”

However, Ms Hebard soon realized she was not carrying her passport as she was on a domestic flight and would not be allowed to disembark without it. The outlet said she stayed at the jetway, which is believed to be a territory of the United States. Furthermore, the flight crew waited with him until several hours later when the plane took off for Philadelphia.

According to the New York Post, a spokesperson for Frontier Airlines said, “We are sincerely sorry that the customer was able to board the wrong flight and have apologised. We have offered him a refund and compensation and have also taken up the matter with the airport.” has been resolved.” Personnel.”
