On Tuesday, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak on behalf of the state held talks with brokers regarding the alleged self-immolation of mother-daughter during the Hatao campaign on Monday in a village in Dairy Dehat. The Deputy CM tweeted the video and wrote that after talking to the families of the victims of the very sad incident in the Deccan countryside, they should be given all possible help and to take strict action against the culprits, while assessing the situation, express their deep condolences. Why? Uttar Pradesh government will not spare any liability with bribe.

At the same time, in this case, an FIR has been registered against 39 people including the SDM and two have also been arrested. Superintendent of Police (Kanpur Dehat) Bajji Pratimao said that till now Lekhpal Ashok Singh and bulldozer driver Deepak have been arrested. He said that both have been arrested in Disnagar Dehat. Inspector General of Police (Kanpur range) Prashant Kumar said that Deputy District Magistrate (Metha) Gyaneshwar Prasad has been suspended.
