Billionaire Gautam Adani today said “the interest of my investors is paramount and everything else is secondary” as he explained the decision to close India’s largest FPO, which was fully subscribed. Mr. Adani said that given the volatility of the market yesterday, the Adani Board strongly felt that it would not be ethically correct to go ahead with the FPO.
