A black poisonous cobra found inside a man’s blanket in MP
As we all know, snakes have a notorious reputation of slipping and hiding in unlikely places. This time in Sironja village of Madhya Pradesh, a young man was shocked to see a snake hidden in his blanket. Apparently, the snake, a black venomous cobra, lay inside his bed all night. Seeing something moving inside his blanket in the morning, the young man made a shocking revelation. At around 6 in the morning when he removed the blanket, he found a massive black snake lurking and hissing. He ran out of the house screaming, throwing the blanket on one side of the bed while the snake was still clinging to the blanket.
A video of the incident shows a snake resting inside a blanket. When the young man patted the blanket, the cobra lifted its hood in a defensive reaction. Cobras are best known for that hood when they sense danger or are about to strike.
The panicked man quickly dialed the number of a snake rescuer, who with the help of a stick pulled the reptile out of the room safely. Later, the video shows the snake rescuer carrying the cobra outside the house, displaying it and holding it in his bare hands.
Black cobras are not endangered, and are common throughout India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. These cobras are also famous for their potentially lethal venom.
