Video of bride’s dance, encouraged blind sister

The bride performed at the sangeet ceremony accompanied by her visually impaired sister.

In a recent video going viral on the internet, a bride is seen dancing with her visually impaired sister at her sangeet ceremony. The bride, fitness influencer Karishma Patel shared a heartwarming still from her wedding album in an Instagram post and talked about the beautiful bond she shares with her elder sister Chandni. In the video, the bride first takes the hand of her blind sister and brings her to the middle of the stage. Then Karishma and Chandni start dancing on Yaadein’s song Aly Re Aly. Chandni can be seen keeping pace with her sister and completing each step. In the beginning of the video, Chandni seems nervous, however, in the middle of her performance, she becomes at ease.

Sharing the video in November last year, Karishma had written, “My sister Chandni (who is blind) and I shared a special moment in our sangeet.” Karisma said, “I was talking to her during the dance because she was about to cry – she was very emotional the whole weekend because I was getting married and I was trying to make her laugh the whole time and remind her that Just because I’m married doesn’t mean I won’t be with her anymore. We have a different kind of relationship, she is my elder sister but for me she is my younger sister whom I have always taken care of, Have taken care of her and she will get in trouble with me.

Further in her post, Karisma also shared that her visually impaired sister, who is also a “beautiful singer”, rehearsed with her cousins ​​for the dance performance when she “could not attend in person.” The influencer added, “I knew it meant a lot to him and me to be a part of our family dance.”
