Hisar: Criminal case of defamation filed against Health Minister Anil by the then Hisar MP and current Deputy CM Vij Has been resolved amicably with “intervention of friends”. Dushyant’s lawyer said that his client does not want to proceed with the complaint and it has been withdrawn. Considering the statement of counsel of Dushyantjudicial magistrate Antarpreet Singh The order stated that, “There is no ground to proceed with the present complaint. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the present complaint is disposed of as withdrawn.”
Earlier this case was heard by eight judges on 28 different dates but there was no logic to summon the accused. In the complaint, Vij had allegedly described Dushyant as a drug addict.
The suit was registered on 7 July 2018. About 15 months after the filing of the case, Dushyant Chautala became the Deputy Chief Minister in the BJP-JJP coalition government and Anil Vijo Along with the Health Minister, he also became the Home Minister.
