In Asheville, a bear came across a man while he was resting at home.
An American man’s relaxing session took a terrifying turn when he turned around to find a house bear staring at him.
The moment was captured on the doorbell camera of David Oppenheimer’s home in Asheville, North Carolina, on the evening of April 11.
The opening scene of the video showed Mr. Oppenheimer relaxing in a lounge chair, with two cushions next to him, when a bear roams the backyard of the house.
In the next video, Mr. Oppenheimer can be seen leaping up and grabbing his pillow after seeing the huge, furry animal, which stopped in its tracks and looked just as shocked as Mr. Oppenheimer. After staring for a moment, the bear turned and ran away.
According to cnn, This jump scare wasn’t the first time these two faced each other. Oppenheimer said the same bear has visited his home twice before to inspect garbage cans and grab a quick bite from his “bear-proof” bird feeder.
“I looked behind me and saw nothing,” Oppenheimer said. CNN“But about a minute later, the bear came along and was practically in front of me.”
Oppenheimer joked, “My pupils definitely dilate.”
Oppenheimer said, “The bears are very quiet here. It caught me off guard.”
