In a video going viral on social media, a seven-year-old is seen working as a Zomato delivery boy in an inspirational story. The boy took to food delivery to support his family after the accident of his father, who also works as a delivery agent for Zomato. The video has been posted on Twitter by a user named Rahul Mittal and has garnered over 40,000 views. Twitter users were moved by the determination shown by the boy at such a young age and praised him for being there for his family in times of crisis.

In the video of about 30 seconds, Mr Mittal is seen talking to the boy about why he is doing this. Holding a box of chocolates in one hand, the boy is seen explaining his working hours to Twitter users and the bicycle he uses to deliver food to homes.

“This 7 year old boy is doing his father’s job because his father had an accident that the boy goes to school in the morning and after 6 he works as a delivery boy for @zomato, we need this boy Need to inspire energy & help her father #zomato to get in feet,” Mr Mittal said in his tweet tagging the food delivery giant.

The boy told the Twitter user that he cycled from 6 am to 11 am, giving food from door to door and finishing school in the morning. Other users got emotional and offered to help the boy.

One user said in his tweet, “Please share more details in DM, will take care of his studies and expenses.” “Imagine what good he can do for the society if his hard work, patience, his determination and helping nature can be channeled into his studies,” said another.

Some users said that this is a violation of labor law, to which Mittal said that Zomato has come forward to help the family. He also said that the food delivery company will unfreeze the account of the boy’s father once he is ready to return to duty.
