Start by either boiling or pressure cooking the peas until it becomes soft and pulpy, adding salt and ginger. Once soft, mash and mix with besan which will act as a binding agent. Make tikkis out of the mixture and fry them. After frying, mash these tikkis and garnish with other ingredients like curd, dry spices, chutney and coriander leaves.
