Watch: Russian missile attack on building adjacent to coffee shop in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv

Now, about 80 percent of Kyiv residents face power outages and water cuts as Russian missiles struck major infrastructure in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv and the central region of Cherkasy, informed Ukrainian officials on Monday.

It came as Russia blamed Ukraine for a drone strike on its Black Sea fleet in the Crimean peninsula. Recently, a video of a Russian missile hitting a neighbor’s building near a coffee shop in the Ukrainian capital is going viral on the internet.

Video shared by Ukraine World on Twitter. CCTV footage from a coffee shop shows a barista making coffee for a customer standing outside his station. He can be seen noticing something outside. The impact of the missile can be heard in a few seconds in the video. It was so sudden that his shop shook and the goods from the top shelf fell to the ground. The barista looks calm in the situation.

The caption of the 8-second video read: “Morning in the city of Kyiv, a Ukrainian woman working as a barista was talking to a customer when a missile attack hit a neighboring building.”

Micro-blogging site users have given their feedback on the video. One user said, ‘These poor people. I can’t believe they are going through this nightmare in the 21st century.”

According to The Guardian, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that Russia carried out 8,000 airstrikes and fired 4,500 missiles throughout the war. Apart from the capital, other regions affected by the attacks include Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya.
