The video shows how to serve dal or curry while having a meal with rice. Instead of pouring lentils over rice, Etiquette Coach suggests taking it in a bowl and mixing it in small portions. The video also shows how vegetable and curd should be mixed with rice while eating. According to the video it is okay to mix vegetables with rice, but not more than two things should be mixed at a time. “Indian Cuisine Etiquette” (Semi Formal & Formal),” the caption read. It seems that the video did not go down well with many Indian internet users. A Twitter user named ‘Haryana Grande’ shared the video and wrote, “Food etiquette and this is the worst time ever. Anyone who says never put your lentils over rice, for no reason at all.” K has a strange superiority complex. Same with people who prefer to eat rice by hand.”

She said, “It didn’t usually make me overreact, but his reel did, so I’ll teach you how to eat your own food.”

Many reacted to the post and wrote, “The only food etiquette to be followed when it comes to Indian food is to burp after eating.”

Another comment read, “I make a circular hill of rice, then add rajma and then boondi raita. It looks like heaven.”

A third comment read, “I mean, I understand how to use cutlery properly, but it looks like she’s trying so hard to conform to British standards.”
