Bhajiya is one of the most loved street-food snacks out there. Potato slices dipped in a delicious besan batter – these crunchy dishes never disappoint. In this recipe, bhajiyas are mixed in pav with delicious tamarind chutney. Serve it with some green chutney and fried chillies and enjoy its goodness. About Bhajiya Pav Recipe: How to make Bhajiya Pav

To make this, first we have to prepare the batter of gram flour. In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, baking soda, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt. Now, slowly add water so that everything mixes together. After this cut the potatoes in round shape and dip them in the batter of gram flour. (Make sure they are completely coated on both sides.)

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potato slices till golden brown. To make tamarind chutney, first soak tamarind overnight. Now put tamarind pulp in a pan and let it come to a boil. Add jaggery powder. Mix well. Add red chili powder, black salt, cumin powder and salt. Divide each bun into two halves and spread the tamarind chutney on both the sides. Place fried potato slices or bhajiyas in the center of the pav and serve.
