Users will be able to see new chat bubbles that are more rounded. Also, the size of the chat bubbles has also been increased and they are now very large. Apart from this, the color of the chat bubble has also been changed. Chat bubbles are darker in color, from a lighter shade of green. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new privacy feature for users. This feature will allow users to hide their profile picture and last seen from selected users in the contact list. It was spotted earlier this month by WaBetaInfo for iOS app users. Now, WhatsApp appears to be testing the feature for Android users as well.
A report by WaBetaInfo states, “WhatsApp is planning to add a new “Except My Contacts…” option for Last Seen, Profile Picture, About, so that you can access specific data without having to set any individual Can’t exclude any contacts at the end to see.”
What it will do is that it will allow users to hide their profile picture on WhatsApp from people they are not comfortable sharing with.
