Instagram down: Users turn to Twitter after experiencing problems with photo-sharing app
Several Instagram users on Thursday reported problems while using the photo-sharing app. According to outage tracker DownDetector, Instagram services faced problems at around 10.35 am this morning and reports of outages peaked at around 12.30 am. It’s unclear what caused the error and the Facebook-owned platform has yet to officially address the issue, though DownDetector shows that the number of people reporting problems with the app fell around 3 a.m. Went. On Twitter, several users said they were unable to access Direct Messages or load photos on Instagram. With Instagram down, people turned to Twitter to see if they were the only ones facing these issues or other people were in the same boat. According to DownDetector, 46 percent of Instagram users said they weren’t able to use the app, while 28 percent reported problems with the Instagram website.
