talking to Ravichandran Ashwin In a video shared by Rajasthan Royals on his official Twitter handle on his return to Karun Nair, Chahal revealed a shocking experience that he had to go through in 2013, when he was part of the Mumbai Indians team.
The incident involved a drunk teammate who grabbed him during the post-match celebration and hanged him from the 15th floor balcony.
Describing the incident, Chahal said, “I never told this story, from today everyone will know. I never shared it. It was in 2013 when I was with Mumbai Indians, we had one in Bangalore. The match was there. He. So there was a player who was very drunk, I will not name him. He was very drunk, he had been watching me for a long time and he just called me and he took me out and he hung me given balcony.”
The 31-year-old, who has already taken 7 wickets in this edition of IPL, further revealed – “And my hands were around him, like this (behind the neck). If I had lost my grip, I would have been on the 15th floor. .. Suddenly many people present there came and handled it. I fainted, they gave me water.
