The much-awaited 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift has finally gone on sale in India today and the Korean carmaker has already received 15,000 pre-bookings for the new Hyundai Venue facelift ahead of its launch. The new Hyundai Venue facelift is offered in six variants – E, S, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O) and ex-showroom prices start at ₹ 7.53 lakh for the base petrol trim, which is Rs. Go all the way. ₹ 12.57 lakh for the range-topping turbo petrol variant, while prices for the diesel variant start at ₹ 9.99 lakh and go up to ₹ 12.32 lakh.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue has received some significant cosmetic upgrades.
The new Hyundai Venue receives significant cosmetic updates as part of the mid-life-cycle update, which brings similar design cues to its larger global sibling, while the cabin also gets a few cosmetic changes along with additional creature comforts. Huh. The most obvious change on the 2022 Venue is the wider and more impressive ‘parametric jewel grille’ featuring liberal use of chrome that merges into the thinner upper minor cluster. The split setup continues for the headlights and DRLs, and the rear also gets new angular taillights which are now combined with a full-length lightbar. Also, it now gets newly designed alloy wheels.
The new Hyundai Venue gets dual-tone interiors.
The cabin of the new Hyundai Venue still looks a familiar space as the overall layout remains the same. That said, it is now available in a dual-tone finish and the analog instrument cluster has also been replaced by a digital unit on the higher variant. The rear seat now gets a two-step recline function, which is a segment-first feature. Then, the top-end variants now come with an updated version of Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car technology with over 60 connected car features and support for 12 languages - including 10 regional languages. The system supports over-the-air updates as before. In addition, Google and Alexa compatibility is new on the 2022 Hyundai Venue, allowing owners to access certain in-car functions from their phones or other Google or Alexa enabled devices using the Google or Alexa voice assistants. These include things like remote climate control, door lock and unlock, vehicle status check, find my car, tire pressure information, fuel level information, speed alert, time fencing and idle time alert.
Connected tail lamps have been given in the new Venue.

Mechanically, the new Hyundai Venue remains identical to the outgoing model retaining both the petrol motors as well as the diesel mill. Starting the range is the 82 bhp 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available across all variants except the top-of-the-line SX(O) variant. The higher variant gets the option of a more powerful 118 bhp 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which is not available in the E, S and SX trims. The diesel engine is the familiar 99 bhp 1.5-litre unit, which is available in all but the E and S trims. Gearbox options include a five-speed manual for the 1.2 petrol, a six-speed manual for the 4 1.5 diesel, a six-speed IMT for the 1.0 turbo and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) for the 1.0 turbo. The Venue also gets a drive mode select with three modes – Normal, Eco and Sport.
