Anand Mahindra has shared a picture of Earth taken from Mars which shows the Earth as a small dot-like structure.

On Thursday, he re-shared an image of Earth reportedly taken from Mars by NASA’s Curiosity rover. It shows the Earth as a small dot. Mr Mahindra said the image teaches a very important lesson: humility.

The handle that posted the picture wrote on Twitter, “This amazing picture was actually taken from Mars. Yes, Mars and that little star-like white dot is our lovely Earth! NASA.”
Mr Mahindra reposted the image with the following message: “If there’s only one thing we should learn from this picture….it’s humility…,” he shared.
Since being shared, the post has garnered over 4,000 likes and hundreds of shares.
One user shared a photo of Earth taken years ago and wrote, “This was taken by Voyager in 1990 from 4 billion miles away. Makes our planet and everything in it so insignificant. Oddly enough, it’s relaxing. brings.”
Another said, “We are a tiny speck of dust in this entire universe.”
