The actress is currently in South Africa with her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli and daughter Vamika. She often shares glimpses of her trip on her Instagram handle.

on Wednesday, Anushka Sharma announced his new film Chakda Express, Sharing the news on her Instagram, the actress wrote a detailed caption. This is what she wrote: “This is a truly special film as it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Express is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and will be an eye-opener to the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very difficult for women to even think of playing sports.The film is a dramatic story of the many examples that shaped her life. Diya and women’s cricket too.” She further added, “From the support system to the facilities, to having a steady income from playing sports, even building a future in cricket – little has been done by the women of India to take up cricket as a profession. Jhulan’s fight was more uncertain. Cricket career and she was inspired to make her country proud. She tried to change the stereotype that women could not make a career out of playing cricket in India so that the next generation of girls would have Be a better playground.
