The CBI has detained a Russian national at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in connection with its probe into alleged rigging of JEE (Mains) exam last year. Officials gave this information on Monday. He said the central agency had issued a ‘look out circular’ against the foreign national suspected of being the main hacker for the alleged manipulation of the prestigious exam.

He said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was alerted by central agencies when Russian nationals arrived at the airport from abroad. He said he was immediately taken into custody by the CBI and is being questioned in connection with the investigation of the JEE manipulation case by the agency.
