Kerala Police on Saturday said they have arrested a radiographer for videotaping a woman while she was changing clothes at a scan center near Pathanamthitta.
Police said they arrested AN Anjit (24) on the basis of the woman’s complaint.
“He found the mobile phone hidden in the changing room. He deleted the video and complained to the police. We took him into custody and interrogated him, after which he confessed to the crime,” he added.
The woman reached the center to get her leg scanned. For this the patient has to change clothes. The woman entered the room and found the mobile phone piled among the clothes and it was recording her pictures.
On getting information about the incident, State Health Minister Veena George has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident.
