The rising waters of the Musi River forced the closure of four bridges in the Narsingi area, separating communities in the Manchirevula area. The service road between Outer Ring Road and exit 27 of Narsingi police station has also been closed after the water in the river increased on Tuesday night.

“We closed the bridge at 8 pm, there were no street lights in the area and we had to drive away the residents of the villa,” said a police officer guarding the barricades on one of the bridges.

In the downstream area of ​​Osmansagar Lake, only the bridges over the Outer Ring Road and Tipu Khan Bridge are open for traffic. Four bridges, including the Royal Function Hall Bridge, Manchirevula Bridge and two bridges on the service road, have been closed. The affected communities include Gandamguda, Bairaguda and Manchirevula.
