UK woman finds 100-year-old dairy milk wrapper during home repairs

Chocolates have been a priceless part of all our childhood days. Some like it creamy and milky, while others prefer nutty and dark versions. No matter what flavor of chocolate you liked, a bar of chocolate bought an instant pleasure that no dessert can replace. So, imagine the surprise and delight that a British woman felt when she found a 100-year-old dairy milk wrapper in her home! Emma Young was renovating her home and tearing up floor boards when she noticed a deep purple casing among the debris. It turned out to be a giant wrapper of a Dairy Milk bar. “Chocolate Neapolitan” read the wrapper and also mentioned that it was made in the garden village of Bournville, England.

The UK woman felt that the wrapper must be quite old as the packaging looked quite classic and vintage, although it was in very good condition. She reached out to Cadbury to confirm, and they revealed that this dairy milk was manufactured between 1930 and 1934. Thus, the rapper was almost 100 years old! “The house was built around 1932 and given its age and the chocolate was only around 1930-34, I wonder if it was a builder who abandoned it,” she said.
