The gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official home of the President, have been given a generic name as part of the “Amrit Mahotsav of Independence” celebrations, news agency ANI reported.
President’s Deputy Press Secretary Navika Gupta told ANI, “On the occasion of the celebration of Amrit Mahotsav completion of 75 years of independence, the President of India has given a common name to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Gardens as Amrit Udyan.”
